Last month we (3Sp and 2Cr) did a STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) challenge. We had to make a self standing snowman with a 2Cr student. It was hard. We could only use some materials. Here are the materials we used: 2 sheets of newspaper, 1 pencil or 3 popsicle sticks, glue, 2 yards of toilet paper, 2 feet of masking tape, 1 foot of clear tape, 1 paper plate to put our snowman on. This project took two days. One day for making our snowman, the other for decorating. These are the materials we used to decorate: 1 piece of orange paper, 1 piece of green, purple, or turquoise, 2 pieces of black paper, 1 pipe cleaner, glue, and some tape. Outside of our classroom there are pictures of the snowmen. Also out there are some of the snowmen. We worked very hard on these. So please take a look when you can!
