Getting Dictionaries!

One day, after recess, all of the third graders went into the cafeteria to get there own personalized dictionaries!

When everyone was seated, a guy named Peter talked to us about his job and why they are giving free dictionaries to all of us.

After he was done talking, he and the teachers passed out the dictionaries! Peter gave us time to look at the dictionaries, and on the inside cover was our name!

After we looked through Peter asked us questions about the dictionary. We all answered them. One of the questions he asked us was ¨How many letters make up the longest word in english?¨ (just  saying the answer was in the dictionary) the answer was 1,909!

After he asked us the questions we got to look through the dictionaries once more and then we all left. It was soooo fun!

Ball in the House

Hello! I’m John and I'm talking about the Ball in the House assembly. We learned a lot about the sounds there was beatboxing also the singing, vocal sounds and other sounds in the back. And how like your mind was able to like make songs like with noises. The beatboxing and the vocal sound were both really cool and also we learned about the low pitches sometimes. They also helped us with the sounds and a lot of other cool stuff. They taught us about different kinds of stuff. They told us so much we all loved it. At the end we all gave them a big clap from all of us. We all had learned so much! Then all of us left waving and saying goodbye and thank you!   

Kindergarten Buddies

Hi I’m Colin and today I will be teaching you about our kindergarten buddies. In the Fall we made these tree things where we wrote stuff that we were thankful for.  We also went there for Halloween so we could read our kindergarten buddies Halloween books and get to know them. When you get a buddie, you some times have to work with another third grader in your class like me. I have a buddie with Lilly.  About every month we do some thing with them. But most of all its for holidays. And thats all about our kindergarten buddies bye!!!
