The Government's Job

Featured Blogger: Sophie
In class we have been talking about what the 3 branches of government do and how to become president.

TO BECOME PRESIDENT
To become president you must be born here.(USA)  Also you must have lived here for 14 years.  You must be at least 35 years old and you can’t have committed a serious crime.

3 BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
Legislative:
The Legislative makes the laws that could become real laws.  Congress is made of the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Executive:
The Executive branch is the branch with the president. The president can put a new law or a bill to action or veto it.  Veto means to disagree with the law that they want to become a real law.

Judicial:
This branch is the Supreme Court.  The Supreme Court has 9 judges.  The Supreme Court is one of the biggest courts.  The president picks the 9 judges

That is what we learned about the government!
