This week in 3Sp we started our persuasive speech unit in writing. To get ideas, we watched "TED talk" videos. One video was about a girl named Adora Svitak who had made her own book and the video was all about how adults can learn from kids. So now I'm wondering when we can start teaching Ms.Sprague, like seriously she said that we can teach our teachers too (I knew it!). I think we will start with some simple humor and how to organize their desks. Hey, have you seen teacher’s desks when they have folders on them, their own snazzy cup with their name on it etc...!
Back to TED Talk videos! Adora Svitak was very persuasive about how adults can learn from us kids. She also gave me the idea to make a persuasive speech about how school should be cut short to 1 quarter of a millionth of a second; okay maybe just until 2:00PM (not AM!). or i'm gonna stick with the the second dog idea.
